Group Training:  Training with others can help push you to run faster and also help you keep those recovery days easy.  A weekly group workout means consistency, competition, and someone to hold you accountable.  This training group is open to men and women of all ages and abilities.

Train Faster to Race Faster:  Most new runners will experience huge improvements in their race times even if they only focus on increasing mileage.  Once you hit that plateau you will need to add faster training in order to continue to improve.  It is easier to train faster with a group than alone.

Train Properly to Stay Injury Free:  This includes a warm up jog, dynamic warm up, training at the pace that's right for you, a cool down, strengthening and core exercises, and post run stretching.  If you train properly, you will get faster and avoid common running injuries.

The Coach:

Coach Rae Ann has been running since 1986 and has competed in races from 400 meters up to the marathon. Rae Ann competed in both Cross Country and Track in high school and at Brown University, with a focus on 5K and the mile. She ran the Monaco Marathon while living in the south of France and attending the International University of Monaco. She has completed 12 marathons so far, including Monaco, Paris, Disney, Hartford, Jacksonville, and Boston three times. Her true passion is Cross Country, which explains her recent adventures in trail running, but she also competes in 5K, 5 Mile, 10K, 15K, and half marathon road races.

Her love of running has extended to coaching others. Rae Ann has earned certifications from Road Runners Club of America (RRCA), USA Track & Field (USATF) level 1 and 2, American Sport Education Program (ASEP), as well as in First Aid and CPR. She now coaches distance runners of all ages and abilities plus high school Cross Country and Track.  Rae Ann’s passion for running is evident in her competitive nature. She encourages everyone, but especially the young women on her high school team to be confident and embrace that competitive fire while learning to love running so that it becomes a life long sport.
